We are going a step back into our roots outside offshore helidecks and into aviation and asset safety by launching SpiderNet – a unique fully passive, and in a positive way a simple solution, to protect high value assets against hostile Drone and UAV attacks.

SpiderNet idea was born from discussions with few defense organisations who have the need to protect high value military or civilian assets against UAS attacks, beyond what is possible with active countermeasures that are based on identification, tracking, jamming and potentially physical destruction. SpiderNet requires no action from anyone, and it will function as last line of defense also when active countermeasures have failed to stop the hostile flying object.

SpiderNet is based on our netting technology that we have used to stop e.g. fighter jets from overrunning the runway, and what also works as basis for our offshore safety nets – here just in a new way. SpiderNet is extremely strong, capable of stopping modern UAVs that have multiple megajoules of kinetic energy
